65-year-old man busted in possession of dagga in Ladysmith

The suspect has appeared in the Ladysmith Magistrate's Court

A 65-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday (November 1) by Ladysmith Visible Policing officers for possession of dagga.

The officers were conducting operations in the CBD when they sourced information and pounced on the man in the taxi rank, where he was found to be in possession of 7.5kg of dagga.

The drugs have an estimated street value of around R10,000.
