All businesses that deal in second-hand goods are reminded to renew their Second Dealers Registration Certificate.
In terms of section 11 of the Second Hand Goods Act of 2009, such businesses are required to renew their registration 90 days before the expiry date.
The Dundee SAPS held a meeting where, the application forms with requirements, were handed out. These completed forms need to be handed in as soon as possible bearing in mind the 90 days.
Businesses that fail to comply will have their registration cancelled as stated in the act.
