25 people have been arrested during various police operations for drug charges, held from November 6 to November 10.
The suspects aged between 19 and 62 years old and were arrested in Estcourt, Ntabamhlophe, Bergville, Besters, Ladysmith, Ekuvukeni and the Ezakheni areas.

Small amounts of dagga and or mandrax tablets were seized. Most of the suspects have already briefly appeared in various magistrates’ courts within the Uthukela Cluster.
The dagga weighs around 15kg and the street value of the drugs is around R4 000.
