The 46-year-old accused in the case of the recent double shooting on the N11 is currently out on bail.
A vehicle with three occupants was travelling along the N11 in the Elandslaagte area when gunmen opened fire on the vehicle.
Two of the occupants were killed, while a third was injured and managed to flee.

The deceased have been identified as 37-year-old Sifiso Mbongwa and 21-year-old Sthabiso Wonderboy.
The accused appeared in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court on October 18.
The case will resume on Tuesday, November 28, in the Ladysmith Regional Court.
