
According to police, no arrests have been made as yet after a courier company was robbed on October 19.
Over R1.5 million worth of goods were stolen from a warehouse opposite a hostel in the Egerton area.
A 68-year-old employee who was opening the business was kidnapped by the robbers.
The 68-year-old man was opening the store when heavily-armed men stormed in. It is believed that the robbers assaulted him.
They then ransacked the place and stole a large quantity of goods..

A nearby resident heard noises and went to investigate. He was spotted by one of the robbers and held at gunpoint. He was then forced back into his flat.
The robber stole his cell-phone and car keys before locking him inside his own flat.

The group of armed men then fled the scene in four vehicles, kidnapping the elderly employee.
Later that same day, the man was found alive along the side of the road in the Greytown area.
Detectives are busy with the investigation.
