BREAKING NEWS: Brazen criminals target Cerise Street home in broad daylight

The owner of the home was found in Viljoen Street a while later.

LENNOXTON- A family was devastated after being the latest victims of a brazen daylight armed robbery, which occurred in Cerise Street earlier this afternoon (November 21).

According to sources, it is believed the domestic worker was in the house when she noticed the homeowner’s bakkie pull into the yard.

Unknown suspects burst into the home and ransacked the bedrooms.

The suspects then fled the scene in the owner’s bakkie.

While the homeowner was nowhere to be found at the time, sources believed she had been kidnapped by the suspects.

All emergency services were called to the scene and a BOLO (Be on the look out) for the bakkie was circulated among officials.

The owner was found alive and well, a short while later in an abandoned house in Jan Viljoen Street, and the bakkie has also since been located.

The suspects are still at large and believed to be armed and dangerous.
