A 35-year-old man has been taken in for questioning in connection with a double murder that took place in the Kleinfontein area of Besters recently.
It is alleged that someone set fire to a house in the area.
A 59-year-old grandmother and a 10-year-old child died in the inferno.
A 12-year-old sustained critical burn wounds and was hospitalised.
