PREVIEW: Newcastle 911 report back on November

Members then called for police assistance and the suspect was detained.

Newcastle 911 CPF report back on a busy November month-end, leading into the beginning of the festive season.

November 30:
Members of 911 were informed of an armed robbery in progress on Jooste Road.

Members of both Newcastle 911 and SAPS quickly responded, and arrested one suspect at the scene.

Police investigations continue.

December 1:
The CPF was informed of a stabbing incident which occurred on Kirkland Street, and responded.

Paramedics were summoned and the victim was transported to hospital.
