On Monday (December 11), an operation held by Ladysmith Visible Policing officers resulted in dagga trees being found and confiscated.
Under the command of the Ladysmith Station Commander, Brigadier CS Cebekhulu, the operation was held in the Umbulwane area and it resulted in the recovery of several dagga trees.
The trees weighed in at 17kg with an estimated street value of R25,000.

The trees are destined to be destroyed.
