People receiving water from the Ezakheni Bulk Water Plant should fill up containers with water, as the supply to these areas will be interrupted today (January 11).
According to uThukela, electricians will be fixing electronic equipment that was damaged during recent storms when there was heavy lightning.
Also due to the storms, a lot of erosion took place which has caused a build-up of silt. Therefore, water has to be treated to separate the silt and process clean, drinkable water for the community.

How long the electricians will take to fix the problem is unknown at this stage.
