Gunmen travelling in a Chevrolet Cruze opened fire on another vehicle, forcing it to a halt on Sunday morning.
A 55-year-old foreign national businessman from Dundee and four others were in the vehicle that came under attack along the Colenso/Pieters road.

The foreign national was pistol-whipped by the gunmen, and the occupants of the vehicle were robbed of cash and cell-phones. Shots were fired during the incident, but no one was injured.
Police and emergency officials rushed to the scene.
Colenso police are investigating a case of robbery.
