Police, together with Public Safety officers, raided taxi ranks in Ladysmith this afternoon (January 26).
The authorities raided the area in search of illegal items such as drugs, pirated CDs and DVDs, and unlicensed liquor.
The operation was a success, with alcohol and many DVDs being found and confiscated.
