Many areas in Ladysmith have been without water once again since this afternoon (January 27).
uThukela District Municipality would like to inform the community that the heavy storm experienced on Thursday night caused a power failure and water turbidity at the Ezakheni Bulk Water Plant.
uThukela workers are currently trying to dislodge mud from the plant and restore water supply to the most affected areas, being Ezakheni and “old Ladysmith”. Water supply has been interrupted in these areas.
uThukela will keep the community informed. They apologise for the inconvenience caused.
