Locals are informed that Bert Webster Swimming Pool located in Forderville will remain closed until further notice.

This announcement came from Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality on Monday.

According to Communications Manager Sphelele Zikalala the closure is due to the storm water drain being clogged with roots.

“During the cleaning of the pool, access water backwashed into the filter room and burnt out the pump,” she further explained.

“The cleaning of the storm water drain is almost complete but now a pump has to be procured to drive the filters and that will take some time,” Ms Zikalala added.
