uThukela District Municipality spokesperson Jabulani Mkhonza would like to highlight the fact that water supply in certain areas will be shut down tomorrow (Wednesday, January 31) from 2am.
The following areas will be affected: Ezakheni (A,B,C,D and E), entire Acaciavale, Steadville (lower lying areas – Nhlanzini, New Stands, 770, Tsakane, Umbulwane).
Mkhonza added that water is expected to return to homes by Friday, February 2.
uThukela technicians will be dislodging the mud at the Ezakheni Bulk Water Plant.

The community is urged to store enough water in containers to manage the situation.
