Water has returned to some areas of Ladysmith, while other areas are still without water.
The reason for the current water outage in many parts of town is that uThukela technicians have been dislodging mud at the Ezakheni Bulk Water Treatment Plant.

The Al-Imdaad Foundation was seen distributing water in certain areas this morning (February 2).
If you have running taps, you are urged to store water in containers just in case.
