Ladysmith residents are again without water.

Having battled without water for three long days last week, people living in Aloe Park and surrounding areas had “dry taps” from yesterday evening (February 4).

According to uThukela, they experienced a problem with one of their pumps, which was tripping at the Ezakheni Bulk Water Treatment Plant this morning.

Their engineers have attended to the problem and some parts of Acaciavale are already receiving water, while the higher-lying areas are expected to have water later on this afternoon.

uThukela apologises for the inconvenience caused.
