PREVIEW: eMIS operation dates to be announced

The Engineered Management Information System (eMIS) is awaiting software updates before it becomes fully operational.

The municipality’s eMIS (Engineered Management Information System) is not entirely operational.

An irate resident contacted the Advertiser after he attempted to log a street light complaint last week.

He claimed the call centre agent was unaware of the existence of eMIS.

The resident thus believed information in last week’s Advertiser was false.

Another resident then took to social media on Monday.

He had contacted the municipal call centre regarding a sinkhole in Aviary Hill.

Instead, he was taken from pillar to proverbial post and given no reference number.
