Business owners notified uThukela and workers arrived just before 9am to repair the leak

When businesses at the corner of Buckingham and Murchison Street opened this morning (February 27), the last thing they expected was a burst pipe and to be left without water.

Water has been pouring down the street since about 7am this morning and nearby businesses have reported that their taps are dry at the moment.

Business owners notified uThukela, and workers arrived just before 9am to repair the leak.
