A prominent franchise take away was robbed during the early parts of Sunday morning in the CBD area.
It is believed that 3 men drove in the drive thru, under false pretence of wanting to purchase items.
One of the men hit the cashier with a bottle on her face and thereafter fled with cash.
Police and emergency services responded to scene.
Paramedics stabilized and treated the woman before transporting her to hospital.

The store which is situated at least a hundred metres away from the Ladysmith police station did not deter the brazen robbers from robbing the store.
