Dannhauser Police are investigating a case of rape after a 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a traditional healer.
Police heard that on March 7, just after midnight, the traditional healer went to a resident’s home in Thirst Farm, Dannhauser, after the person consulted with the healer in Osizweni.
The traditional healer told the woman that he must visit her house at night to continue with the healing process.
He arrived with two other people on the night in question and told the family that someone in the family would die and another would also follow.
He then mentioned that the 17-year-old would die next and said that she must accompany him outside so that he can pray for her.
Once she was outside with him, he instructed her to take her clothes off and then raped her.
The case is currently under investigation.
