This was the message from AbaQulusi Mayor, Cllr Jerry Sibiya at his opening speech at the Vryheid Tourism 20th Annual General Meeting, which was held at Mpofini Game Lodge on Wednesday evening, amid guests and dignitaries from AbaQulusi Municipality and the hospitality industry.
Outgoing Chairman of Vryheid Tourism, Dons Grobler, addressed the guests, delivering his report for the year and Mrs T Yaka, in her scriptural address, delivered a powerful message on the importance of positivity in all aspects of business and life.

Following the nomination and election process, the new Office Bearers and Vryheid Tourism Committee for 2018 are as follows:

Councillor MA Mazibuko will stand in as a council representative for AbaQulusi Municipality. Gustav Röhrs and Willem Burger remain Honorary Members and AbaQulusi Municipality Information Bureau’s Alet Swanepoel, a name synonymous with Vryheid Tourism and a shining and exceptionally capable example for the hospitality industry, retains her position as Secretary for Vryheid Tourism.
