The Ladysmith Family Violence, Child Protection & Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit is appealing to the community to help them solve a case of child abandonment.
On Monday (March 12), a newborn baby boy was found abandoned in a veld in Ezakheni E-Section.
The baby was not even a day old and was found wrapped in a plastic bag.

The baby was rushed to a nearby clinic for care and medical attention.
