Most areas receiving water from the Ezakheni purification plant are without water.
Aloe Park and surrounding areas have had dry taps since last night (March 21).
IFP councillor Abbas Warasally contacted uThukela regarding this matter and according to the district municipality, the water outage is due to an electrical problem.
At this stage, it is unclear when water will be restored to the affected areas.
