The search for a man who has been missing since March 15 came to an end when police officers found him dead.
Mhlusha Alson Mlotshwa (76) from the Ndulwana area of Colenso was reported missing by his family last week.
He was last seen by his neighbour on Thursday, March 15.
This week, police officers from the Ladysmith and Durban K9 units were called in to assist with the search for the missing man.
Using three police search & rescue dogs to comb the vast area between his home and the last known sighting, the search for Mr Mlotshwa came to a close yesterday (March 21).

His body was found lying in the bushes alongside a stream.
Police have opened an inquest and are awaiting the results of a postmortem to establish the cause of death.
