oSizweni SAPS recently arrested a 28-year-old man for being in possession of dagga, during an Intelligence Driven Operation.

Captain Jabulani Ncube of Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications and Liaison said the police were informed about the suspect, who was believed to be dealing from his house in oSizweni Section A.
“SAPS proceeded to raid the suspect’s house, where they recovered seven packets of dry-loose dagga, weighing 115 grams, as well as an additional smaller 14 parcels of dagga, weighing 96g.”
All the dagga that was recovered was believed to have an estimated street value of around R 1 800.
The suspect will appear at the Madadeni Magistrate’s Court soon, while investigations continue.
