On Tuesday afternoon (March 27), an elderly man fell victim to a break-in at his home in Stevenson Road.
The alleged suspect was spotted on CCTV footage, walking in the street. He then turned and went to the house he intended to rob.
The suspect was wearing a cap and carrying a garden fork in his hand.
It is alleged that when the owner of the property left his garage, the man quickly entered and stole tools.

The suspect fled when he heard the complainant approaching the garage.
Ladysmith detectives are investigating a case of theft.
The cap and garden fork seen in the CCTV footage were found outside the house on the ground.
