According to Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications and Liaison Officer, Captain Jabulani Ncube, the accused was recently admitted to Fort Napier in Pietermaritzburg and underwent a mental assessment.

The suspect accused of the murder of Warrant Officer Sascha Naidoo in June last year, once again appeared in the Madadeni Magistrate’s Court on March 20.

However, his trial was once again postponed as the mental evaluation reports had not yet been released.

According to Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications and Liaison Officer, Captain Jabulani Ncube, the accused was recently admitted to Fort Napier in Pietermaritzburg and underwent a mental assessment.

The doctor’s final report had allegedly not yet been delivered to the relevant departments. Therefore, the court date was remanded to April 4 .
