In preparation for #SOTA2018, Newcastle Advertiser asked Newcastillians what they were expecting of the 2018 Draft Budget.

Here is what they had to say:

According to Cllr Nkosi, the ruling party will continue to serve Newcastle as best they can.

“During our local government elections campaign we committed to our people that we shall ensure the following among other things:

  1. Visionary, responsible and accountable leadership.
  2. Improved audit outcomes.
  3. Improved performance management and compliance.
  4. Improved public participation.
  5. Improve on LED to realise tangible results.

I want to re-affirm that we are still committed to that.”
