Earlier today (April 11), an armed robbery took place at Exact Clothing Store on Scott Street.
According to Newcastle SAPS spokesperson, Captain Jabulani Ncube, 7 male suspects entered the shop with firearms.

The suspects proceeded to lock the staff of the store, in the storeroom.
“The suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and 235 cellphones,” he said. “No shots were fired and there were no injuries or fatalities,” said Ncube.
The suspects are currently still at large and police investigations continue.
