A prisoner managed to elude court officials and escape from the Ezakheni Magistrate’s Court this morning (April 16).
A manhunt was launched for the escapee prisoner and he was re-arrested later in the morning.
It is believed that the prisoner had been convicted in a previous case and was appearing in court today for an additional charge.
The prisoner is now under heavy police guard.
