Ward 3 Councillor Mlotshwa denies resigning

IFP Councillor Thabani Mlothswa of Sithembile location in Ward 3 denies that he has resigned. Rumours that he had quit yesterday circulated throughout the town.

Councillor Mlothswa won the September by-election.

” I have done no such thing, the people spreading this untruthful rumour just want to tarnish my name and don’t want to see my ward progressing,” said Cllr Mlothswa.

“I just got elected not so long ago why would I resign when I have so many plans for Sithembile”, he continued.

Cllr Mlothswa recently oversaw the election of four ward committee members to join his committee ‘so that Ward 3 can be a fully functioning ward’ he told the Courier.
