Major water leak turns road into a dam in Ladysmith
The water leak has been reported to uThukela so that it can be fixed
A major water leak at the corner of Beacon Road and Camp Road has literally turned the roadway into a dam.
The leak has been there for the past few weeks already, with numerous complaints coming in from residents living in the area.
One motorist even saw young children playing in the water as if it was a swimming pool.

“The water pouring out of the leak is fresh clean drinking water,” said a resident, who also asked the question, “How can this be left leaking for so long?”
The flow of water is so large that small cars cannot even drive through.
