According to a reliable source, the four suspects were armed with an R4 rifle and two pistols.
“They forced the vehicle off the road, and demanded the custodian hand over the safe keys. The suspects then demanded the guard hand over his firearm as well.”
A security officer escorting the G4S was also robbed of his gun, before the suspects fled the scene with two firearms, the custodian’s safe keys, the car keys and a bag containing the two victim’s personal belongings.
Police were summoned to the scene, and a search is being conducted to locate the suspects.
Fortunately, no one was injured during the robbery.
