“The winners in each category of the Miss MayFair pageant will be at the MayFair promoting the tourism stall,” added Mrs Mossop.
Special thanks goes to Lynette Meij for the sponsorship of the sashes, as well as to the ‘points counters’, Peggy Beetge from His Caring Angels, and Val Mossop, who is a volunteer with Hospice.
“I also want to thank our three judges, Cara-Lee Joubert, who is a Zumba instructor, Khalia Schmitting, who is a volunteer at the SPCA, and Natasha Langenhoven, the receptionist at the Vryheid Herald,” concluded Mrs Mossop.
“I hope the community enjoys the MayFair this weekend. Keep in mind that police and public safety officials are going to be very, very strict this year to ensure good, clean fun for families to enjoy.”
