PREVIEW: Juan Pinnick forced to withdraw from Mr Gay World 2018
Management of Mr Gay World ruled Juan out of the competition, as he would be unable to compete in the sports section due to injury.
A knee injury has ruled Juan Pinnick out of Mr Gay World 2018 (MGW).
Juan said management of the competition made the decision on his behalf.
It was made on the basis that he would be unable to compete in the sports challenges and events of judging week.

He admitted he was heartbroken to put his aspirations on hold.
“It was not my decision to withdraw from the competition.”
Juan said he trusted the decisions to replace him with MGW South Africa first prince, Karabo Morake.

He also understood that his health and wellbeing were put first in making the decision.
“I am however a little heartbroken that almost two years of preparation for the event have been put on hold.”
