Women spread warmth this winter
The women’s forum team visited the Provincial Hospital to hand out baby blankets and hygiene packs as part of the outreach programme

The Al-Hifazath Women’s Forum launched their ‘Winter Warmth’ project at Ladysmith Provincial Hospital by distributing baby blankets on Wednesday last week.
The women’s forum team visited the paediatric and maternity wards to hand out baby blankets and hygiene packs as part of the outreach programme.
It was a humbling experience to witness the excitement on the mothers’ faces, many of whom are still very young.
They accepted their gifts with humility and a huge smile.
The Al-Hifazath Women’s Forum has planned outreach projects for the rest of the year. They live by the motto “serving humanity selflessly”.
A huge thank you to the Al-Hifazath team for volunteering their time to share hope, joy and love to the less fortunate in the community.

Al-Hifazath Women’s Forum founder and co-ordinator Hafiza Mirza said a special word of thanks to all the sponsors.
“May you be blessed with good health and wealth, and we pray that your every endeavour is always successful. Remember, in working together we can make a difference to those among us who are less fortunate.”
It is truly heartwarming to see projects like this being run in the community.
