Helping the less fortunate in Ladysmith
Project Cornerstone would like to remind the community that it’s not about how much we give but how much love we put into giving

On Friday and Saturday, Project Cornerstone co-ordinator Mr K Bihaspat and a group of learners made their way to Watersmeet and the Inzenzo Day Care Crèche in Primrose Crescent to distribute mouth-watering, hot, creamy soup and bread to those in need. The food was sponsored and distributed courtesy of the Royal Hotel (Mr and Mrs Richard Lee).
On Sunday, still striving on, the same team visited Peacetown, where about 60 people were treated to hot, delicious soup sponsored and prepared by the Royal Hotel.
This particular outreach programme saw learners also gaining knowledge from a very powerful teaching led by Mr Bihaspat. The title of the sermon was “Forgiving our sins”. Community members learned that when you feel unforgiven, you tend to feel unforgiving! However, they were encouraged to not let unforgiveness keep you from the future God has planned for you.
Project Cornerstone would like to remind the community that it’s not about how much we give but how much love we put into giving, because we make a living by what we get and we make a life by what we give.
