Warning: Truck drivers now block N1 as part of protest action
Motorists are warned to stay away from this area
Reports have come in that truck drivers have now blocked the Bloemfontein N1 route. The N3 at Van Reenen’s Pass is completely closed due to over 100 trucks barricading the roadway.
They are demanding that the Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Transport come down to address their issues and give a date as to when foreign drivers will leave the country.

Another demand is that they have an NBCR consultant.
The chanting of protest songs and hooters blaring can be heard echoing along the N3 near Van Reenen.
