The cold fronts are expected to bring heavy rainfall and snow
A white Christmas in July near Ladysmith? Could be! Yes, snowfall is predicted in the Drakensberg on Sunday (July 1), going into Monday (July 2).
There are currently three cold fronts moving towards the Eastern Cape, with two of them being severe, meaning that they are likely to bring cold weather and much-anticipated snow to the Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, Western Cape, Lesotho and KwaZulu-Natal.
The cold fronts are also expected to bring heavy rain and snow.
For the Ladysmith area, if the cold fronts hold their course, they will bring lovely snow to the Drakensberg.

Snow is predicted to fall by Monday afternoon in Lesotho and into Tuesday morning for KZN in places like Underberg, Mooi River, Rosetta and Impendle.
This means that cold weather is on the cards, so be ready for a chilly weekend going into next week.
