An intelligence driven operation was held in the Weenen area by the Ladysmith K9 Unit on Monday, August 13.
The members went to a house in Ngodindi area, Weenen where they recovered two rifles and 42 rounds of ammunition.
A 58-year-old woman was placed under arrest.

She faces a charge of being in possession of illegal firearms and ammunition. The firearms will be subjected to ballistic testing.
She is appearing today, August 15 in the Weenen Magistrates’ Court.
