LETTER: A new sign board in Newcastle with an error

Madam –

At last!

The errant road sign has been replaced.

Now at least visitors to town will not be confused by the information on display, but I see ArcelorMittal name is not correctly spelled.

No matter, us locals know what and where the place is.

At least the road number and arrow directions are right.

Thank you municipality for righting the wrong with regards that.

Perhaps some of the other wrongs [in] the town can now also get some well-deserved attention, like Paterson Street next to the park.

Maybe address the goings on in that neighbourhood and clean the place up.

Although with Christmas coming and the high cost of goods, the trade being plied there will surely increase.
