On Sunday the unwanted remains of cattle carcasses were discarded amongst the piles of sand and litter.

This type of illegal dumping is not allowed, not only does it pose a health risk, the growing mounds of domestic waste, which includes plastic, glass and garden refuse is quickly transforming this part of Estcourt into another eyesore.

If you spot someone illegally dumping, if possible, snap a photo or take down their details and report it to the municipality by calling 036 342 7800.
