BREAKING: Bus bursts into flames on the D96
The fire department was on the scene and extinguished the blaze.
A bus carrying about 50 passengers has overturned on the D96 (Vulintaba Road) and burst into flames.
One of the passengers on the bus said the bus failed to climb the steep incline and began to roll backwards.
“As the bus was rolling it started to move side-ways. Then it flipped over and started burning,” said the distraught woman.
All the passengers on the bus including the driver escaped unharmed from the burning bus.

Emergency services treated some for minor injuries while others were seen recovering from the trauma of the ordeal.
The fire department was on the scene and extinguished the blaze.
The exact cause of the bus catching fire is unknown and remains subject to police investigation.
