Water-shedding expected for Ladysmith on Sunday due to level of Klip River

Water-shedding has to be implemented again from Sunday

Due to no rain in the catchment area of Ladysmith, the water level in the Klip River has dropped again and as from Saturday (December 1), it will not be possible to supply water to the plant.

Thus, water-shedding has to be implemented from Sunday (December 2).

uThukela is keeping to the same programme as before.

This means that water will be switched on at 2am and off at 10am, and switched on at 2pm and off at 8pm.

Contact the Call Centre on 0860104257 regarding the programme or changes made by the municipality.

Water-shedding depends on whether rain has fallen before Sunday to increase the level of the Klip River.
