  2. Truck fire claims one life – A truck caught alight at the Winterton/Colenso interchange, claiming the life of one person.
  3. Hijacked at knifepoint – Kevin Lawrence was at the Estcourt Waste Disposal Site (landfill site) when he was held up at knife point by an unknown male.
  4. Strikers take the lead – Strikers Darts Club won the 2005 season league. In second place was Sasha Signs.
