Exciting start to the school year at Drakensview Primary

The majority of the learners looked really pleased to be back at school

The grade one corridor was buzzing with excitement last Wednesday at Drakensview Primary School.

Proud parents escorted their children to their new grade one classrooms to begin their career in formal education.
New shoes, lunchboxes, stationery and uniforms were the norm.

Welcoming the first day at school with a smile.

The new learners settled quickly at their desks, keen to explore their colouring books and crayons, while some of the parents appeared reluctant to leave.

Moms, dads and siblings were all there to settle their children into their new classes.
