Fire station remains scrap yard

Besides the fire engines, other municipal vehicles like a refuse truck and traffic cars are parked there

 

To this point, no one knows why several non-operational municipal vehicles are parked off at the Estcourt Fire Station.

The Estcourt News has forwarded questions, which a local wanted answers to. He wished to know the reason why the vehicles were parked off at the Estcourt Fire Station since last year.

Besides the fire engines, other municipal vehicles like a refuse truck and traffic cars are parked there.

Two weeks ago the resident’s questions were forwarded to the local municipality’s Communication Department and despite assurances for a response, none has been received.

Is the municipality unable to justify to the public why vehicles not having any relation to fire fighting is being kept at the fire station?
