Vote now for Newcastle to be in the ‘Town of the Year’ competition

Four years ago, Newcastle was voted the Best Town in KZN.

While we may not have taken the honour of being the Best Town in South Africa, we again have the opportunity to bring the accolade home.

To do this however, the Community Tourism Organisation (CTO) needs your help!

“It is time to vote for Newcastle in Kwela’s Town of the Year Competition,” encourages CTO Chairman, Johan Pieters.

Entries and nominations close at 12 noon on February 15.

“If we are nominated as one of the three best towns by the community, we will need to vote to ensure that we are the best. If we are the number one town in our province, we will receive invaluable promotional marketing on Kwela, Channel 144.”

Pieters said the process would only be successful if the public got involved and joined the CTO Kwela Town of the Year Committee, to work together towards a win.

To nominate Newcastle, simply SMS ‘Newcastle’ to 33157. SMSs cost R1.50 each.
