Fill your tank before the petrol price goes up
Motorists will feel the pinch and should fill up before midnight
The price of petrol and diesel will go up tomorrow (March 6).
When the clock strikes midnight, both 93 and 95 octane will increase by 74 cents a litre.
Diesel 0.05% sulphur will be going up by 91 cents, diesel 0.005% sulphur by 93 cents, illuminating paraffin by 76 cents and Maximum LP Gas by R1.01 a litre.

According to the Department of Energy, this fuel price hike is due to an increase in international crude oil prices.
Motorists will feel the pinch yet again and should fill up tonight (Tuesday, March 5) before midnight.
